ALL on 4

A Reason To Smile Again..

Can just four implants replace all of the teeth on the top or the bottom of your mouth? Thanks to advances in dental implant technology, that answer is a resounding YES.

What is All-on-4 treatment concept?

The All-on-4 treatment concept with Dr. Ballesteros is a cost-efficient, graftless solution that provides patients with a fixed full-arch prosthesis on the day of surgery.

Characteristics include:

  • Full-arch rehabilitation with only four implants
Two straight anterior implants and two implants tilted up to 45º in the posterior.

  • Immediate Function (fixed provisional bridge)
For patients meeting criteria for immediate loading of implants

  • Graftless procedure
Bone grafting is avoided by tilting the posterior implants, utilizing available bone

Why All-on-4 Patients recommend this concept?

Rapid improvement in quality of life
A fixed full-arch prosthesis on the day of
surgery quickly leads to improved patient satisfaction – with regards to function,
esthetics, sense, speech and self-esteem.
Shorter treatment times
Tilting of the posterior implants avoids the
need for time-consuming bone grafting procedures, while immediate loading
shortens time-to-teeth.
Lower costs
The concept is the least costly in comparison with conventional implant treatment modalities of the edentulous and soon-to-be edentulous jaw.

Most Patients Who Are Missing Teeth

Will Qualify for All-on-4 Implants

An ideal candidate for All-on-4 meets certain requirements, including:

Good Oral Health

Decay and other oral health issues can affect the success of your implants.

Good Overall Health

Health concerns, such as poorly controlled diabetes, can limit healing.

Using tobacco products reduces your body's ability to heal after surgery.

Sufficient Bone Density

While All-on-4 implants require less bone, you still need sufficient bone tissue.

Here is a quick demo of the procedure..

  1. First, we will administer local anesthesia and sedation with a specialist to ensure your comfort.

  2. Dr Ballesteros will make small incisions into your gums to expose your bone.

  3. He will place the two front implants vertically into your jaw and the two back posts at a slight angle .

  4. We usually place a temporary restoration so you can enjoy full function while you heal or if you previous denture qualify we will fix it to the implants.

  5. It typically takes four to six months for the implants to fuse with your jawbone.

  6. Once you have fully healed, Dr Ballesteros can design and place a custom restoration for a fully restored smile.

How Much Does All-on-4 Cost?

Replacing all the teeth in your upper or lower jaw can become expensive. While traditional dentures are less expensive than implant-supported, they typically require more maintenance costs in the long-term.

In general, All-on-4 implants are a more cost-effective option for permanently restoring a full arch of teeth.

There are several factors which can affect the final cost of your treatment, including:

  • Preliminary ProceduresBone grafts, ridge augmentation, extractions, or other preparatory treatments can raise your final cost.

  • Restoration Nature: The materials used to make your restoration will affect the final cost.

  • Advanced Approach: Using advanced treatments, such as PGRF, can speed healing but also raise cost..

  • Sedation: While sedation will make treatment more comfortable, it does add to your total bill.
