What are Porcelain Veneers?

Dental veneers (sometimes called porcelain veneers or dental porcelain laminates) are water-thin, custom-made shells of tooth-colored materials designed to cover the front surface of teeth to improve your appearance. These shells are bonded to the front of the teeth changing their color, shape, size, or length.

Am i a Candidate for Porcelain Veneers?

Since veneers can lead a wide range of concerns, several patients can benefit from this treatment. However, there are certain reasons why veneers may not be right for you. Dr. Alfredo Ballesteros can perform a full oral health exam and determine whether an alternative treatment, such as teeth whitening or Invisalign®, may be a better choice.

To qualify for porcelain veneers, you should have:

Sufficient Tooth Structure

If you have thin enamel or large decays, veneers may not be the right cosmetic option for you.

Balanced Bite

Severe clenching or grinding can stress your veneers and cause them to break.

Reasonably Straight Teeth

For more severe misalignment, Ortho treatment is your best option.

Good Oral Health

We can address issues such as decay or gum disease before placing veneers.

Minimally Invasive Veneer Philosophy

This philosophy requires advanced cosmetic studies to perform it. Dr Ballesteros and his team will always treat each case to do a minimally invasive preparation (when applicable).

Some veneers can be placed WITHOUT reshaping or contouring of your teeth.

How Much do They Cost ??

In the United States, the cost of porcelain veneers can range from $800 to over $4,000 per tooth! . At our practice, a single veneer typically costs between $400 and $700. We aim to offer affordable services to ensure our patients have access to the cosmetic dental treatments they desire.

If your teeth are stained, discolored, worn, chipped, broken, misaligned, misshapen, or have gaps between them, modern cosmetic dentistry can give you a better smile. A “smile makeover” improves the appearance of your smile through one or more cosmetic dentistry procedures.

With porcelain veneers Dr Maryol Ballesteros can fix some of the problems that usually would take more time.
