Minimally Invasive Veneers
One of the most common questions patients often ask is:
If my teeth are reshaped for veneers, what will they look like? Will they be sensitive?

As you may see, the preparation for a crown vs. a conventional porcelain veneer is HUGE. DDS Ballesteros has taken several courses and workshops on this new trending in dentistry (Minimally Invasive Veneers aka Lumineers)
What's the difference between a conventional porcelain veneer vs a Lumineer?
To place a minimally invasive veneer, Dr Alfredo Ballesteros will do an full exam of your smile and determine which tooth surface he will reshape (if need it) to place the porcelain.
The main difference stands in Lumineers requires minimal to cero reshaping of your teeth.

The original tooth is left unchanged and the enamel is not damaged, which some patients prefer as a long-term solution. To achieve this, Lumineers are much thinner than veneers (they’re about as thick as a contact lens), but they’re still strong and durable. However, they may look and feel slightly bulkier when compared to veneers.
